Whether she eats 300 or 300,000 calories will have no affect on that. Current food production is more than enough to meet world needs, but for numerous reasons, produced food is often used for applications other than human consumption.
Emphasis mine. Let's put corn ethanol for vehicle fuel and soy biodiesel aside for a minute. You may be shocked when you find out how much corn and other food is given to livestock to bulk them up for human consumption as meat. I am sure any plans to launch it have been scrapped and this is just a left over prototype. You know Apple has a history of planning for every contingency, I am sure there are Sprint iPhones ready to go also. If Apple decides to release them they would be ready to go.

Not sure I understand, I've had 4G on my Evo for over a year now...

wimax is not 4G. it even shows up with the wifi icon when it's connected. LTE is a real ITU standard that will eventually pave the way for real 4G

I don't know if you know how math works, but there are no discounts for not having a subsidy. You don't factor in the cost of service, that is not relevant. You will pay that regardless of the handset device. My regular iPhone would cost that.
What about someone with multiple accounts? The additional line is $10 a month. You failed to consider all the factors in your math.
For people buying an expensive smartphone getting the 3GS is a good deal. Notice how they sell more of them then any other smartphone besides the iPhone 4, even when Android handset makers give away their product.
The plan is part of the price, getting a 3GS without a plan would net you $449.
And, you don't get an 3GS for $50 for an $10/month additional line. You need to pay for a real plan for that. And the least expensive would still net you more per month than you paid up front for the 3GS.

Apple is using the same CPUs as everyone else, for which their enclosures are extremely competitive in terms of dimensions.
You get it partly wrong. It's true that Apple is not using special chips. They use some of the chips that all other companies use. But they do not use many of the chips the users would want to have. The reasoning might differ - whether it's the case or the motherboard, but the end result is the same - limited choices. Like no quad core CPUs in laptops before SandyBridge was released (wrong TDP), or sticking with outdated C2P for years.

Even if Amazon has 69 cent songs, I will likely continue buying on iTunes. Over the past year, most music has been purchased on my iPhone while I am out. Can't do that with Amazon.
Blame The fact that Apple won't allow a competing service in it's market. On my Android phone I can use the Amazon mp3 app to purchase music, download it to my phone immediately or stream it from amazon. It goes into my Amaozon locker meaning I can go to any computer and download it there at any point in the future. Instant access from multiple devices, except my one iOS device.

No, I read that the show actually generates around $160m per year for ABC through advertisers.
You may not like him, but I suppose he is underpaid for the money he can generate...

Two weeks ago the dude was going wide open doing "7 gram rocks" as he admits ... he's bound to be pretty strange acting about now ... especially if he's drug free according to the drug test he did on air.
Overdose or suicide wouldn't surprise me, he hasn't ruled out doing drugs again, actually sounds like he looks forward to it ...
Delusional and having a meltdown for sure, very sad.
