Ok so ive just discovered the joys of Geektools today so ive been playing around with that. Got 3 variations running the same scripts but with different wallpapers.....
All very Apple based as you can probably tell! Think I prefer the first one!!

This is a great offer. But how about unlimited calls to any states in the US? I think it would be very good for a subscriber who wants to call anywhere in the US. thanks.
AT&T's cellular plans are already nationwide. Unless of course you want unlimited international plans which I don't think are ever going to happen.

I wasn't sure what to expect, and wasn't really wishing for anything in particular, so, I thought the Keynote was so-so. Great features on the iPhone, but, why announce it 6 months in advance after so much hype? And why Cingular, possibly the worst phone company on Earth? And why is Yahoo necessary for email? Boy, I bet the contract for this phone will require that you hire a Lawyer with all these corporations providing 3rd party services. YUCKO!

that's what I'm thinking... to support a iTunes cloud and new mobileme services, I would expect exabytes... Doesn't seem that big of an order.

Exactly - assuming Apple stores everything in HD + SD @ 2GB/hour of HD and 1GB/hour of SD, that's over 4 million hours of video (since 1PB = 1048567GB).
If iTunes goes 1080p, it would likely be stored as about 4-5GB/hour + SD, or about 2.5 million hours of video.
If (and it's a big if) this is open to iTunes subscribers, it will likely be only for content you buy off iTunes, so there will be no duplication.

What ya'll are forgetting is that people buy iPhones every day... all year long.
If Apple sold 18.65 million iPhones this past quarter... that works out to over 207,000 a day. Let that number sink in for a minute. :D
So, when the white iPhone appears on store shelves this week... there will be a fair amount of people who buy them.
Don't forget... on each day there are millions of people who are eligible to get a new phone... and the white iPhone is yet another option for them.

Hey all. I was screwing with iTunes4 tonight and I managed to delete all my playlists. They're still on my iPod (as is the whole iTunes library). Is there a program out there that will allow me to download my playlists from the iPod to iTunes? It will save me several hours of work if I can do that.

Huh? Every Vice President is a Vice President. Serlet has been much of the managerial brains, and the tech brains as well, behind Cocoa. There's a VP of hardware, etc. I guess you tend to hear from them since they're also spokesmen. I assure you, there are lots of coders and PR people and guys in shipping who aren't VPs.

I really liked this one. I've tried many other apps that gather the Album Cover art for iTunes songs/albums but this is the best by far.
It's called Clutter (http://www.sprote.com/clutter/).
Launch Clutter when you have iTunes open. As a song is playing, Clutter automatically looks up the album art. Once found, under the File menu select copy to iTunes and BAM, it's there for the WhOLE album. Sweet.
One note. If it doesn't find the art, just go under the File menu and choose "Find cover in Amazon". Just type in different variations of the artist or song and i'm sure it'll pop up.

Where do I find the TV out settings on my ipod nano? My goal is to watch slideshows I create with the macbook on my TV. I've read that I can move the slideshows onto the ipod and use RCA cables to view on the TV. Is this true? Any other suggestions or better ways to accomplish this goal? I also have an iphone 3gs if that works better.
