I wanted an app that would show me the current month and following month's calendars in a small window, for when I'm planning the next couple of week's activities. I found it as CalendarCenter (http://www.macdev.ca/macos/Freeware.html) from MacDev.ca. It's not elegant but it does just the one trick I wanted. A new iOS update appeared in iTunes today. Does one need to download a new Xcode + SDK (multi-GB .dmg) after installing 4.3.2 on ones iPhone build-and-run apps?

any help would be appreciated
I left my 3Gs attached to my mac through firewire and overnight the battery drained.
When I came back it wouldn't charge and now I have tried to charge it on 2 different macs with 2 different fire wires and both haven't recognized the Iphone.
When I hold down the power and menu buttons the apple logo pops up and for a brief second a picture of a fire wire comes up.
Do I have any options other than get professional help/new phone?

Even one example of someone being killed by the state for something they did not do invalidates the whole edifice of capital punishment.
This is why I have so much trouble understanding the "pro death penalty" viewpoint.
Now, if the legal system was infallible (hah) the death penalty discussion would be much more interesting.

Am in London for a couple of days and will probably be a week before I have everything I need to complete my little MDD. Then I'll tidy up the wiring and get some shots done for you all.

Just wondering why you invested in a video card for a file server or did I miss a post where you said you wanted to do other things? If you are just doing file serving I recommend going headless as it will save power and money.

I'd like to know, as well. My choice between a 3G-capable iPad or a Wi-Fi model rests largely on how capably the location services work on the iPad. I'll be using a Wi-Fi model tethered to a phone, if this app works as well as advertised.

For some weird reason, my plus sign for adding bookmarks is gone. When I try to ad a bookmark, it puts it on the end of the list so I have to go to the right arrows on the right side to see it. Anyone have any idea why this may be happening?

So my friend gave me the Install Xcode.app and every time I double click it to install it nothing happens. I see my dock move a little bit, like its about to open up a new application down there, but then it goes away. It only moves like 5 pixels so I can't see what app is going on the dock. Is there anyway for me to install it? If he needs to sign in as a developer on his account thats fine, but how would we do that?

i just bought it and i like it over all. a couple things i don't like are that i cant use the chat bubbles theme and that there is no way to set the near by distance feature:(

666sheep is right.. RAM is the main cause of KP's. As he said take one out and try booting up. Keep taking one out at a time till you have just 1 left. Once the KP's stop you will know the stick you just took out is the culprit.
.. and dont forget to try each stick individually once your down to 1 stick if it keeps kernel panicking - unlikely but if your unlucky its likely to be the very last stick you get too thats faulty - ( probably stating the obvious, but I thought Id add it for completeness of your correct advice zen - :) )

WOW since i just updated my macbook pro it boots so quickly that i don't even see the spinning wheel, i have a owc mercury extreme 6g. thank apple :)

I have an Apple 24" LED. It is in warranty through Apple Care. The monitor has large black sections at the bottom of the screen and I want to have it replaced. Since the 24" LED is not made anymore, does Apple replace it with a refurbished 24" or do they repair the monitor?
