I know J Barrett has been a star of this forum for a while.
I just wanted to check if anyone in a similar situation as mine as received any update on their 485.
140 approved from TSC in May 2006; LUD on 7/28
485 received at NSC on July 2, 2007

if your case is clean..there shouldn't be anything to worry.. use ac21 and move on..u cant predict future..

Hi
I was also tested possitive due to vaccination in India. did the skin test and X-ray. I talked to my family Dr.(and couple of my Dr. Freinds.) and they all told me that my body will allways react to this test due to vaccination and if X-ray is fine we do not need any medication. In US all the Dr. has to get the test once a year and those vaccinated in their native country has to get an X-ray to confirm it as the test is allways possitive for them.
I would say Consult another Dr. just to be sure.

Hi,
Both, me and my wife, have EAD and AP. I am still working on H1 and she is not using her EAD (other than to obtain SSN).
We do not see her working for another year or so. I may switch jobs using AC21 and may do so using H1B transfer or EAD.
So here's my question:
1. Can I skip renewing her EAD and renew just mine?
2. Can we renew her EAD as and when we feel the need, which may be later than the expiry date of her current EAD?
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

I got an approval email from CRIS last week on my I-140.
Today I received an email saying the notice that USCIS sent was returned as undeliverable.
Any one has similar experience? Where does the I-140 approval notice go- Attorney or Employer address?

regular being Perm+140 + 1485...
can we switch to Consular processing after the 140 stage?
my attorney says.. as long as the company can provide a letter stating the "job" will be available after the applicant gets his GC.. its possible to switch to CP...even at the III stage of GC processing.
but then CP can be risky..;-|

Can I file concurrently I-140 and I-485 if the labor is approved but haven't received the hard copy? What do I need to attach to these applications to substitute for the hard copy?
If you have a screenshot of approval, you can use that to file concurrently!
I am in exact same situation, except I have already filed on July 2nd. I am not very sure about this whole thing, but some lawyers are saying this only applies to people filing from July 17 to Aug 17th, I dont know. I will keep my fingers crossed and see what will happen to my application.

Looks like you are in a rush .. You filed your labor in 2007 and expect to get a GC before a guy who is waiting in EB3 from 2002 0r 2003 ?
There is nothing wrong in converting from EB3 to EB2 , if you are qualified . How long you are going to wait in EB3 ?

Today (03/15/2010) my employer got Receipt No mail from VSC. It says that VSC Received date is 03/12/2010 and the count of 15 days will start from 03/12/2010.But FedEx Delivery date is 03/04/2010.
Does they process premium processing like this?

Date received shown:03/15/2010
Status went back from Inital review to Acceptance and date also changed from 03/12/2010 to 03/15/2010.
Got confused.
How it works normally?

I would agree to this. Only if you live in the US and do not get a pay check you will be in trouble for both H1 extension and GC processing.
