Another thought might be that the contacts on the lens isn't clean (or some other reason not making full contact).
Or just simply that the camera is broken. Have you spoken to Nikon or the shop where you bought the camera?

The Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART) was developed to assess and improve program performance so that the Federal government can achieve better results. Well my employer applied for 140 on "some secret date", that he will not tell us :). So I don't know when he filed. I was under impression that he filed long time back almost a year back and it is approved. Suddenly, I received RFE at my home mail (I was surprised as well my employer..that how it arrived to my address) and I found that my I140 is in limbo state. But blessing in disguise was that now I have my I140 number and A# and I can track it online.
I don't know when exactly he filed my labor too. He just gave me one page to sign on labor. so I don't know any details of that too.

I had one A# on my EAD (during OPT), as xxx-xxx-xxx, which was expired after OPT was end. Then, after I filed my I485 application, I obtained another A# showed on I-797C form, as Axxxxxxxxx. So I am quite comfused that which one is my current A#. Does A# change with our status? Thanks.

i am not a lawyer and may be mistaken, but i was told that if one's spouse is using EAD, then you must be in EAD status and cannot be in H1 status (since then dependent spouse would be in H4 status and cannot work).
Can anyone confirm this?

It is the other way.
If the spouse has EAD and wishes to be in AOS, then the primary applicant can be either on H1-B or on EAD; it does not matter.
If the spouse has no EAD (so that s/he has to be on H-4), or for whatever reason wants to remain in H-4, then the primary applicant must be on H1-B.

Big worry off her head!

First round of interviews went well - now have to send my details to their HR to make sure EB2 porting will work.

There is no harm in opening a service request (SR) but you have to wait 30 days for the next step after the SR i.e sending followup email directly to the service center if nothing happens to the SR. I opened SR on 9/1 and came to know that SR is still pending and not assigned to any officer. May be they are busy in approving cases so technically I have to wait till Sep 30 to send the followup email. Even if you send the followup email before that 30 days there is no use because you will get an email back to provide the SR number. Hope this helps.

There are 40,000 available annually, but the wait is typically between six and nine years. someone should sponsor for you to get a green. If you perform well hope you get a green card soon with the help from your US employer.

The USCIS PDF for I-693 (http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-693.pdf) says "OMB No. 1615-0033; Expires 06/30/07" at the top of the form. At the bottom it says "Form I-693 (Rev. 09/16/05) Y". Will we be able to submit this form if we get the medical exam done now and file it with the I-485 on July 1 or later?
I found another version of the PDF which says "OMB No. 1615-0064; Expires 05/31/08" at the top and "Form I-693 (Rev. 09/16/05) N" at the bottom. I've only found this at these sites:
