Anyone gone to Galleria for launch day? Where does the line begin to form? I'm sure FLPD will kick anyone off the property attempting to camp out or arrive too soon. I'm planning on arriving @ 6:00 am on Thurs

The key will be when Verizon gets the iPhone 5, as many have already said. But I don't see how contract commitments would be holding back current Verizon customers. Verizon customers have never bought a phone en masse like AT&T users with iPhones. Current AT&T customers looking to switch, however, would presumably be locked in to a 3GS contract for at least another couple of months, though at this point the ETF on a June or July 2009 contract is substantially less than another month of service. But they probably also believe a new iPhone will be coming in June, which might explain why they're content to sit tight.
Nothing about the CDMA iPhone matters until the new edition is released. Then we'll get a clearer picture of iPhone interest.

Hey guy's, I have a tangerine iBook G3 Clamshell. Everything is perfect on it except that I need to get a hard drive for it, and I need a faceplate for the CD drive. Here is a link to what that part looks like.

I've searched all over and cannot seem to find it anywhere, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been beyond busy this past year, and haven't been able to post my guitart desktops, something I tried to do monthly.
So here's hitting back with a bang and making up for the missed months

I've had my 5th gen. iPod video for about five years now, and it's treated me well; until last night. I was lying in bed listening to music, and I wanted to skip the song, so I pushed the forward button. Nothing happens. I try it again; the iPod freezes for about 20 seconds, then totally powers down, and makes a clicking noise (sounds like a drive maybe?).
Now, every time I turn the iPod on, I get the Apple logo, and it immediately goes to the "Connect to your computer, use iTunes to restore" screen, and after about 10 seconds, it powers off, again making the same whine/click noise. It's in a loop with this.
If I plug it into my computer, it doesn't read whatsoever; nothing on my desktop, nothing in iTunes, but the iPod itself goes to disk mode with a white screen and a "do not disconnect" sign. I cannot seem to get it out of disk mode, let alone get my computer to recognize it, so I can't restore it. I have a Macbook, and I've tried to restore it using other computers (several Windows systems) and it recognizes a "USB mass storage device", but doesn't appear in iTunes or anywhere else.
I've tried doing the manual reset, tried diagnostics mode, and to no avail. It's stuck in disk mode in a perpetual loop every time I turn it on, and NO computers will recognize it.
I have a really old 3GB iPod mini that I got years ago, so that's been my replacement for the past 24 hours— problem is, 3GB hardly compares to the 30GB that was on my iPod video; I can't even fit a quarter of my library on it. I'm kind of upset about it, I mean, I know that 5 years is quite awhile, but I've taken extremely good care of the device. It's been in a protective case ever since I got it, and I rarely drop it. I use it about every day. Any ideas on what I can do? To my understanding, if the hard drive has crashed, a sad iPod logo will appear, and that hasn't happened yet, so... who knows? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I don't really want to pay Apple to repair it because I may as well buy a new iPod (which I won't be able to do for quite awhile, broke college student here).

So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.
Most companies infringe on each others patents, but dont tend to act when a company infringes on theirs, because they know they're infringing on theirs too, or someone else's.

So since there is no answer to my earlier question, I take it that the posters who take issue with the tracking have not bothered to correct the issue on their phone and desktop, which would seem like they care more about posting complaints than being tracked.

On my iPhone 4, the animations are very choppy. For example when I tap an app, it doesn't "zoom" in...it just freezes for a second then the app appears. Not jailbroken, and it does this even after a restore.
Hopefully this update will fix it...it's been going on for a while now.
I second this issue. This problem only became a problem following an upgrade; my brand new iP4 ran like a champ! :(

Obviously you have difficulty dealing with people that disagree with you.
Once again, I am not siding with the seller. His selling privileges will be rightfully revoked. He clearly violated eBay's terms of service.
But he doesn't belong in jail....at least not for this offense.
i wasn't attacking to you, i was replying to this comment:
I just can't stand people that automatically declare something illegal because they think it is wrong.

Are you able to only download the fixes? Otherwise it is a 600mb plus patch
Wow
Do you really think the patch is 600MB. You really don't have a clue.

E3 Xeons are basically for entry level workstations and servers. You will likely see their consumer versions in the new iMacs - Core i5/i7 2000 processors.

Bootlace can't be used on any iPod Touch 2G. Only the iPhone 2G, iPod Touch 1G, and iPhone 3G.
