This mockup does not put the mute rocker on the side - whoops.
As long as battery life and CPU speed go up, i'll be a happy camper.

Im a shareholder. Similar to many others here that you mindlessly dismiss
I have nothing against Apple shareholders (both shorts and longs :D). It's just this is not a forum for them. This is their forum: http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/mb/AAPL

I couldnt care less about iCal... I use thunderbird!
I feel like Apple is always a day late and a dollar short on its communication apps (iChat & iCal)

I love them! I've met the couple that makes them and they're all done by hand. Very sturdy and obviously, very beautiful. They look great on a shelf and feel even better in my hand.
They're very nice and I love the look, but a little too expensive maybe soon if I can justify the purchase.

Luminor Panerai. Can't beat that!
Very nice watch.
Heh, and people are flipping out over a $250 Burberry shirt.

They are not killing iChat in favor of FaceTime? Glad to hear! I love iChat and was a little bit concerned about its future.

Seems like we have the same drop rate here. From all of these posts it looks like ATT has a problem in many metro areas.

You can't hack a DS Lite.
:p
But really, I want that jerky, it looks yum.
Lol I pretty much killed that whole bag in one day. $9 in my belly!
Picked up a 32gb Transcend Class 10 SDHC for the hp mini. $50 is not bad for all that extra storage space.

The Vista EULA has been modified, presumably to relax the restrictions on reinstalling Vista and upgrading hardware... No changes to the limitations on virtualization for Home Basic and Home Premuim.

If this requires case manufacturers to make a case specifically for the white iPhone on both carriers, I wouldn't be surprised if they just said screw it, were not making one. Apple released the white iPhone because they said they would, I don't think enough will be sold where it makes sense for case makers.

Apple Store employees know ZERO about future product releases except for what they read on MacRumors and the like on the internet. They are given no prior knowledge to a new product release.

Wish I could get my taxes done, worked 3 jobs last year and only got my W2 for one of them :( didnt make much though...probably about 4k so maybe a $200 refund if that. Anyone have a guess? I always mark no dependencies or whatever so they take all the taxes out.

I don't know if you know how math works, but there are no discounts for not having a subsidy. You don't factor in the cost of service, that is not relevant. You will pay that regardless of the handset device. My regular iPhone would cost that.
What about someone with multiple accounts? The additional line is $10 a month. You failed to consider all the factors in your math.
For people buying an expensive smartphone getting the 3GS is a good deal. Notice how they sell more of them then any other smartphone besides the iPhone 4, even when Android handset makers give away their product.
The plan is part of the price, getting a 3GS without a plan would net you $449.
And, you don't get an 3GS for $50 for an $10/month additional line. You need to pay for a real plan for that. And the least expensive would still net you more per month than you paid up front for the 3GS.
Not sure why you bring up Android phones? I'm discussing the stupidity of getting a 3GS instead of a 4. Or for that matter a 4 instead of a 5.
My math is correct.

nothing has even been released yet. why does a cloud have to run across multiple geographic locations? as long as it's online in the cloud it doesn't matter where it is.
It'll be a pathetic excuse for a cloud if it'll only stream in the US (which if they continue with this 1 datacenter model will be the case). Amazon will beat them here, hands down. Have you seen how many datacenters they have?
http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2008/11/18/where-amazons-data-centers-are-located/
^ That vs 1 datacenter...lets think...who's going to get the better performance...
Also, the point of the cloud is redundancy. What happens WHEN the 1 datacenter goes down (e.g power problems, network problems, natural disasters, etc)? Apple's will be wiped out in one move, Amazon just fail over to another DC location.

That doesn't say anything remotely similar to "envisioned by apple.". In fact, it suggests the opposite - intel thought of it, and Apple helped "bring it to market."

I still usually buy CDs for music I care about, if what I am after is not easily obtainable on CD I buy from an online store who offer 320kbps files when possible. Market forces are the only way they (Amazon, iTunes etc) will ever higher quality or lossless.
