Just noticed that my lawyer has attached marriage certificate of my co-worker in the dependendent's petition. I am waiting for the receipt.
What are the impacts of this mistake? To compound the issue, my wife is flying out next week for a month to India.
Gurus any answers on this is deeply appreciated.
Just on the lighter note I wonder if even USCIS ignores that mistake and give you and your co-worker's wife a GC.

Yes, ICICI bank do not allow more than 4 part pre-payments in a year. I am not sure if it is a calendar year. You can ask ICICI for the part pre-payment terms. When I inquired, they sent me a PDF file.
I had this issue because I wanted to pay-off my loan to avoid the increasing interest rate. Mine was floating. The officer who sold me the loan gave some misguiding concept "interest rate will go down when the economy is booming". But the reverse happened after I took the loan. I had a floating rate of 7% in Sept 2004. But within a year and half it almost crossed 12.5%.
I will try to find the email that ICICI sent regarding the part pre-payments terms.

So you are good to go. This means, when the company applied for your H1, they also applied for your wife's extension using form I-539.
When your wife presents the I-797 in her name, a new I-94 will be given upto 12/25/2009.
There are few cases, where out of ignorance or negligence, they do not apply I-539 while applying for H1, thereby jeopardising h4 status.
In your case, it has been done right. so no worries.

I updated my address via online at USCIS, sent the AR-11 via certified mail, only to find out that my current address was not on file for my I-485 that was pending at that time.
I called TSC using POJ technique, and the IO who answered was very helpful and she took down my new address. I provided both mine and my spouse's receipt numbers and she updated the address for both of us. I had three soft LUD's only after I spoke to the IO.
For those who have to change their address, please take some time and call TSC and verify your address on file! Hope this helps.

I was also tested possitive due to vaccination in India. did the skin test and X-ray. I talked to my family Dr.(and couple of my Dr. Freinds.) and they all told me that my body will allways react to this test due to vaccination and if X-ray is fine we do not need any medication. In US all the Dr. has to get the test once a year and those vaccinated in their native country has to get an X-ray to confirm it as the test is allways possitive for them.
I would say Consult another Dr. just to be sure.

I am a july 2007 filler as well and my GC was approved last month though the processing date was few months behind. I know some other cases as well whose 485 was approved when the processing date was not current. So i would say that just stay positive and keep your fingers crossed. Happy days should be just around the corner.

It seems like the subject is solved sort of, but if your camera exports an EXIF (Extended Information or whatever it's called), it should give the focal length in the EXIF for the image. So you could take a few pictures at different lengths and view the image information in Photoshop (or whatever good picture editor you like to use).

At this stage, I am not really counting on things working out here - have already started making plans to R2I (which is why I am looking to open a IRA account that can be managed online). 485 package was delivered by UPS on NSC and the tracking number shows it delivered on the morning of June 08.
However, until this moment there is still no receipts annd check is not cashed.
As Canadian_Dream suggest, we just have to wait a little more time and if still no result, I will submit another copy for the application.

2) When you applied for visa extension , what is going to be the validity of that visa ?
1) current visa stamp has already expired, so I have to apply for a new stamp(this is the key question: how long is the visa stamp? 3-moth or only till June 30?)2) the validity of new I-797 approval notice will till 2010. I guess it will be approved next month.

I had filed my I-485 in Jun 2007 my PD is Nov 2005 and was called for an interview at the local USCIS office in Feb 2009. My I-485 was pre-approved, now I am about to apply for AP renewal.
The question I have is which service center do I mail in my AP renewal docs? My original application was filed in Nebraska. So do I file it there or send it to service center in Missouri? Can any one who has similar experience post the answer to this?
